Cycle 1 (1st–15th)Paid 17th
Cycle 2 (16th–last)Paid 3rd
Allow 2–4 days bank processing. Review your pay stub every cycle.
💳 Credit Card Tips

Credit card tips are tracked automatically through Homebase and distributed based on hours worked during that pay cycle. The more hours you work in a cycle, the larger your share.

💵 Cash Tips

At Doza, cash tips are treated as a shared team resource — not kept by whoever was working the register when they were collected. This keeps things fair regardless of which shift you're on.

How the split works: Cash tips collected each day are split among the team members who worked that day, based on hours worked. More hours worked that day = larger share of that day's tips.
Keep the tip jar honest. Count carefully at close. Log the total accurately — everyone's payout depends on that number being right.
If at any time something feels incorrect or unclear about your pay or tips, we are here to figure it out together. Please bring it to us — no question is too small.

A successful shift change sets the next barista up for success. Take 1–2 minutes to connect with the incoming barista before handing off your station. Communicate any important information regarding espresso dial-in changes, equipment issues, low stock, guest concerns, or any operational notes.

Plan Ahead — Delegate as needed. You can begin prepping for a shift changeover 1 hour before you clock out.
